At Clogher Road Community College our Home School Community Liaison Co-ordinator is part of a suite of supports for young people and families to combat educational disadvantage. Using a preventative approach, a range of interventions are put in place to allow families to enjoy a positive relationship with the school including parent classes and information mornings. The link with community groups and support services is also harnessed through the HSCL Scheme and the needs of families are often best supported by key groups and activities in their local area. As a school we value the importance of student participation and completion of school and acknowledge the role that parents, teachers and the whole community plays allowing this to happen.
