Guidance and Counselling in Clogher Road Community College focuses on three interrelated strands: Personal & Social, Education and Career Guidance.
The guidance department is involved in:
- The transition of students from primary to secondary school
- Assisting students with subject choices in the transition from junior to senior cycle
- Supporting the SEN department in assessing the needs of students and implementing appropriate support systems
- Counselling students in times of personal crisis
- Assisting students with applications for further education
- The delivery of personal and social development programmes
- Supporting students and their families through the Student Support Team.
