Guidance and Counselling in Clogher Road Community College focuses on three interrelated strands: Personal & Social, Education and Career Guidance. 

The guidance department is involved in:

• The transition of students from primary to secondary school

• Assisting students with subject choices in the transition from junior to senior cycle

• Supporting the SEN department in assessing the needs of students and implementing appropriate support systems

• Counselling students in times of personal crisis

• Assisting students with applications for further education

• The delivery of personal and social development programmes

• Supporting students and their families through the Student Support Team.
